Least Restrictive Environment

Objectives:
  • Participants will review and understand the current legal mandates and guidelines related to the concept of Least Restrictive Environment
  • Participants will analyze available data surrounding classroom types for students participating in Special Education
  • Participants will review and analyze current research on the benefits of inclusive educational practices
  • Participants will identify areas for improvement within their own practice to promote more inclusive and equitable learning opportunities and improve student outcomes
